Having access to a blender at home is pretty handy. They’re awesome for making fruit smoothies, thick shakes and milk shakes however, they’re aren’t always convenient for making soups and dips. Most people will find that using a hand blender (also known as an immersion blender) do a better job at those tasks and it also creates a lot less mess. Take making a soup for instance; if you’re using a normal blender you would boil the soup in a pot and then transfer it to the blender in batches, then you’d have to pour it back into the pot to finish cooking it off. This creates more of a mess and takes up more time. If you had a hand blender you could simply just puree everything inside the pot and then continue to cook. This will save you precious time in the kitchen.

Below are 3 really fast selling hand blenders that you can find online today:

KitchenAid Immersion Blender

KitchenAid has been one of the best selling kitchen appliance brands for years now. They make such high quality products that you’ll even find these appliances in a commercial kitchen. This hand blender is no different. As expected with KitchenAid products, you’ll get a high powered motor that is surprisingly quiet. The beauty of this blender is that it is a lot more versatile than many other products – you can use it for blending, mixing and even whipping. Unlike many other blenders, this one comes with 3 of its own cup blending beakers for things likes dips. If you’re sitting on the fence about paying the extra dollars for a KitchenAid product, don’t be afraid – you’ll be investing in a solid product here.

Cuisinart Smart Stick Hand Blender – 200W

This cuisinart blender is one of the higher selling hand blenders online. It’s not as powerful as the KitchenAid blender, but at half the price you do get a good quality product with Cuisinart. One of the stand out features on this product is the protective guard. Not only does this protect your pots from getting damaged, but it also helps prevent any splatter and any unnecessary mess.
Also, just like the KitchenAid blender, you can have peace of mind with this quality product that provides a 3 year manufacturers warranty.

KitchenAid KHB300 Hand Blender

This hand blender by KitchenAid gives you the same quality motor and results as the one reviewed earlier, only this blender comes with a larger mixing beaker with a 4 cup capacity. The other major benefit of this blender is that it comes with separate attachments which can be used for whisking and also chopping nuts. Again, you won’t be disappointed with a KitchenAid product.

If you have the extra funds available you’d be silly to not choose the KitchenAid brands, however if you want to save a little extra cash you definitely wouldn’t be choosing a ‘bad’ mixer with cuisinart. All of these products come with a warranty included so all will give you the peace of mind that you’ve spent your money well.

I don’t know how I lived without this product. My sister gave it to me Christmas eve and I have been using it continuously ever since. I have Fibromyalgia and sometimes the pain can be so intense that it’s difficult to chop an onion or even stir eggs for an omelet. It’s lightweight and easy to clean. The attachments give the stick the most versatility. From chopping nuts and onions or making blended vegetable soups to whipping up a quick Hollandaise sauce and the oh so trendy foams, I feel like I’m back in control of my kitchen. I think if Julia and Paul Child were still alive you’d find it in their Cambridge kitchen. One caveat: I did find I needed to go out and purchase the metal bowls with the rubber bottoms as the stick is so powerful it can get away from you. That said, when you’re making a pureed vegetable soup or a gravy, for example, you can put the metal blender right into the pan and blend away. Simply put, I love it and hope you do, too. My new-found kitchen adventures have only just begun. Cheers.
